Examination is considered the most effective tools of evaluate the teaching effect, especially in high school. The workload of high school teacher is significantly more than the others. It is a meaningful work that freed teachers from the artificial give tests work mode. In this thesis, a standard item bank and test analysis information system was designed by the author based on the theory of educational measurement and statistics of education, which is aimed at the high school in Wanzhou District of Chongqing.The thesis analyzes the research status at home and abroad at the beginning, and then introduces the Classical Test Theory (CTT) as the theoretical basis of the system, and then quoted the relevant national technical standards. The second part of thesis analyzed the existing examination organization model, and the raised a new mode that use standard item bank and test analysis system which based on the Theory of Knowledge.The thesis made needs analysis, outline design and detailed design in the view of Software Engineering. And the thesis designed the database detailed too. At the last of the main body detailed introduction on three key functional modules, they are as the following:1. Based on the user’s computer skills, the system use a third-part middleware to call Microsoft Word on the web page. VBA and.NET technology were used for realize the access operation between the Web and the Database. This solution is differing from most existing item edit mode.2. By compared the random algorithm, regression algorithm, expert system algorithm and genetic algorithm, the random algorithm based on multiple constraint condition has been selected to implementation of automatic test paper generation under the control of paper strategy. The method is simple and rapid.3. Paper’s reliability, difficulty and other related parameters are analyzed based on statistics of education. The thesis not only analyzed the normal test results, but also analyzed historical record to provide reference and guidance for student.ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server were used for implement the system. The system is running under the Browser/Server (B/S) mode, Windows Server and Internet Information Server (IIS) were used on the server-side. It is a practical and simple operated system.
