LED panel displays text,graphics,images,animation,and the other information as well as television,video signals through some ways and is composes by LED array.With the characteristics of high brightness,visibility distance and low cost,many public have already used the LED display to replace original billboard and plaques.Many big screens also use LED panel instead of traditional LCD screen.To satisfy more needs of users and simplify the use of the panel, the thesis designs a set of LED Panel control system composed of controller, cell board and managerial system of upper computer display. Lower computer uses a controller with a STC89C52RC singlechip as processor to control the display modes, luminance, and time of LED panel. The screen body is consituted by split joint of cell boards, while cell boards, size64X32, consist of bio-color dot matrix display modules and Line drive devices. Display managerial system of upper computer impelments data display, display modes and contents. Through serial communication and exchange message of lower computer control system, the whole system can control a LED panel of20000dots and achieve various display modes, such as left shift, right shift,screen flip,etc.The system draws a schematic diagram of LED panel, makes a PCB, successfully carries out the whole system integration and test and achieves relative functions. The system can be applied in places like stations, banks, hospitals, etc.
