With the rapid economic development, as well as scientific and advanced management concept introduced, logistics industry has become increasingly mature. The industrial standards and informatization construction are gradually improved. However, there are still many problems remained in various parts of logistics, especially the security.China’s logistics industry is limited by the overall development level, most aspects still fall behind. In addition, the application environment of logistics industry becomes more complicated because of the continuous impact of Internet and e-commerce application. Various kinds of security vulnerabilities and accidents emerge in endlessly. In order to promote a quick and safe development of the logistics industry, improving the degree of informatization and increasing the research and application of advanced technology are tasks which brook no delay. The rising of IOT (Internet of Things) such as RFID and sensor technology provides opportunities and conditions.First, this paper analyzed the whole logistics process and business requirements from the perspective of supply chain which includes the manufacturer, third-party logistics provider and retailer. On the basis of researching on the most mature IOT standards EPC at present, this paper proposed the EPC-based logistics network theoretical model, and then designed the system’s general framework and security model. Besides, this paper described the function of each subsystem, module and interface in detail. Considering the system security, this paper also made a research on security mechanism suitable for IOT, which include the authentication mechanism between RFID devices in object identification subsystem, and lightweight data encryption strategy for data interaction between object identification subsystem and EPC network information subsystem. Finally this paper provided specific function implementation in the case of logistics tracking system, simulated the mutual authentication model by model error rate and single run time index. The simulation result proved that this model ensured system security and communication efficiency.
