In order to ensure that TD-HSPA+chip is consistent with protocol, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and a company joined to develop TD-HSPA+terminal test equipment. The MAC entity related to TD-HSPA+protocol stack is designed and implemented.The followings are included:Chapter I introduces the background of the thesis.Chapter II introduces the function of TD-HSPA+terminal test set and its hardware and software architectures firstly. Then the through put and quality identification of HS-DSCH are introduced. How to configure the parameters is analysed on the basis of introduction finally.Chapter III introduces new entities of TD-HSPA+protocol stack and the function of MAC-ehs and MAC-i/is. Then, the new transmission channels and physical channels are also analysed. The preliminary outline of MAC-ehs and MAC-i/is entities are designed finally.Chapter IV designs and implements the channel mapping module, the downlink scheduler module and the uplink scheduler module. The interfaces and detailed implementation are also designed.Chapter V builds the test environment and the unit tests of three modules are done. By comparing the input data with output data, it is concluded that the designed modules can achieve the required function and the designs are correct and meet the needs of protocol.Chapter VI summarizes the thesis and prospects the outlook of terminal test set. At present, the project has passed acceptance.The achievments have been applied in the communication test set.
