This paper first elaborates the basic situation of purification plant, including production equipment, process, DCS system. Then according to the relationship between the various collections of data points in the production process, the data points are divided into several different modules. Each module can independently represents a process in the production process. After do that, we proposed the design ideas of early warning system according to the needs of the project construction. At the same time, this paper introduces ECM as the system architecture platform.The main object of study of this paper is building a forecast and early warning platform system, therefore, this paper then researches the theoretical knowledge of the various methods of data analysis, and determine PCA is the main analysis methods of the system., then highlights the PCA algorithm’s calculation process. In addition, we have a general overview on the analysis method of PLS, neural network, wavelet, and EWMA. After that, we propose the model design methods for desulphurization, dehydration, sulfur recovery, and steam production unit.Finally, we modeling in ECM platform by using PCA as the main module, establishing failure prediction warning model of desulfurization, dehydration, sulfur recovery, steam production unit, and makes a detailed description of each component in the model. In the model of the compressor, as the state of the machine is hardly to distinguish, so we proposed a method by using timeshift as core algorithm to determine the machine’s power state. Last, we research Changshou factory equipment running state by system composed by models, ensuring the safety production of the monitoring object.The project achieves a real-time monitoring of the production process of the purification plant, makes identifying and ruling out potential problems timely before possible danger in production become possible, and provide a guarantee for the safety production of purification plant.
