A Tentative Analysis Of The Development Status And The Direction Of Future Development Of Gansu TV Station

In this thesis, the method of combining qualitative and quantitative analysis is adopted. And on basis of the literature review regarding to studies of domestic television development, some related materials are collected by the survey method (the dissemination of market and audience survey of Gansu Broadcasting and TV Station) and interviews (interviews of the leadership at middle and top levels of Gansu Broadcasting and TV Station).This thesis spreads around the development situation of Gansu TV Station in recent years, by starting with the status quo of Gansu TV Station, including a comparison with other strong media, the competitive environment it faces, the internal organization, the status quo of channels, the preparation of personnel, the evaluation analysis of ratings and etc, and combining with the analysis of the market and the audience as well as the study on the impacts of the internal and external environment on Gansu TV Station, a systematic study on the two major program revision carried out by Gansu TV Station in2011and2012is particularly conducted. The thesis summarizes some obstacles that exist or may arise in the reform process, and puts forward corresponding suggestions and countermeasures, and it also describes the overall framework of a series of reforms that Gansu TV Station makes in order to seek any further development.
