If people directly use the test instrument to test the radio frequency network, it willexpand too much time and vigor. And test instrument has only a few ports, it may not meetthe need of measuring. To study the automatic test system of multi-port radio frequencynetwork will reduce time and vigor, improve test efficiency and breakthrough the portnumber bottleneck of test instrument.The automatic test system of multi-port radio frequency network talked in this paperconsists of hardware and software. The hardware contains radio frequency switch matrixmodule, the controlling module of switch matrix, vector network analyzer and PC. Radiofrequency switch matrix is made up of many radio frequency switches and it can select theport to be tested from the multi-port under low insert loss. The controlling module ofswitch matrix receives data from RS485bus transmitted by PC, measures the temperaturearound controlling module, transmit controlling command of switch matrix, display thestatus of port-selecting. PC sends commands to the controlling module of switch matrixand vector network analyzer using RS485and LAN bus.The auto testing software of PC contains the module that selects the port to be test, themodule that controlling radio frequency switch matrix, the module that controlling thevector network analyzer, and the module that calculate the parameter of radio network.Users can input the port numbers to be test using port selecting interface. The auto testingsoftware of PC transmits the information of selecting port number and receivestemperature through RS485bus, and transmits the command that control vector networkanalyzer in SCPI format through LAN bus to control the initialization, test of vectornetwork analyzer and to receive data tested by it. It can calculate the parameter of radionetwork using T matrix or plus-minus calculation method and temperature compensation. This paper analysis the test result of the automatic test system of multi-port radiofrequency network. The results of research show that the test system can test the radiofrequency network correctly.
