Rapid progress of technology speeds up the innovation of electronic measurement technology,so that new measuring methods and theory bring forth continuously.The leading role of software technology in electronic measurement technology becomes more and more obvious.Great importance is attached to software technology upgrading and software design quality.In testing of the traditional HF frequency-hopping radio in Haige Communications Equipment Company,owning to the complicated testing environment,meters and trivial procedures related to manual testing,it causes such problems as taking long time,wasting many resources and obtaining low efficiency.And the tested result is interfered by man-made or environment factors that result in high working intensityBased on the practical requirements of automatic testing for HF frequency-hopping radio,by adopting C/S Application Program Structure and employing VC++Language and SQL Server Database System,this paper designs and constructs the testing platform of HF frequency-hopping radio's fundamental services.It also puts forward the testing method of the whole fundamental services from project demand,system construction to function realization.By the GPIB-based standard bus and system switch interface,it fully controls HF signal generator,audio analyzer,frequency spectrum analyzer,power meter and the tested radio,realizing automatic testing of various electronic performance indexes of the tested radio,embodying the testing accuracy,conformability,safety and high efficiency of various indexes of the radio.At present,this testing system has been applied successfully in the test of HF frequency-hopping radio in Haige Communications Equipment Company.This system is convenient to employ.Compared with manual testing,the efficiency is improved by 6 times.The index stability is highly approved from the conformability of production process inspection,factory level inspection and user inspection of the products.
