With the growth of data traffic and the development of information technology, we need to remould old data centers and build more new ones. Since a lot of electronic equipments such as high performance servers are applied in the data centers, it causes a problem of heat dissipation in the high heat density data room. Communication cabinet air conditioning system has solved the problem mentioned above by its characteristics of good refrigeration ability, high efficiency, energy conservation and environment protection.Our project developed a new communication cabinet air conditioning control system which satisfied the need of refrigeration in the high heat density data room. The main contents of the project include the circuit design of the control system, software control and debugging, and the testing of complete machine. The hardware system is composed of center control circuit, communication circuit, numerical collection circuit, action execution circuit, and feedback input circuit. MC9S08DZ60from Freescale company is adopted as the center control circuit to control the peripheral circuit. The communication circuit is realized by reliable and efficient Ethernet to exchange data with host computer. High-precision temperature sensor and humidity sensor are utilized in the numerical collection circuit to collect the signals of water temperature and the temperature and humidity signals of recirculating air, and then realize their analog to digital conversions. Driver board and solenoid valve are used in action execution circuit to control the solenoid valve and the speed of the wind and of the flowing water. The feedback input circuit is composed of sensor, pinboard and encoder to give the feedback of the system current status to the control board, to implement the real time monitoring of the system running state. The software system is based on C language system and Labview operating system to implement the control and remote monitoring of communication cabinet air conditioning.Finally, the testing of complete machine was carried out. The system satisfied the requirements of technical indicators by testing the cabinet control system under different power terminations. The testing results of the system indicate that the communication cabinet system can satisfy the need of refrigeration of high density cabinet.
