Refrigerator cabinet foam production is an important part of the refrigerator product line.Using of the refrigerator would be affected by the quality of foaming and the efficiency ofproduction line would be affected by the speed of foaming. In this paper, the refrigeratorcabinet foaming system as the researched object, the technology development of the foamingsystem is analyzed. According to the actual need of the project, a multi-position refrigeratorcabinet foaming system with back injecting is proposed and the automatic control of thesystem is realized. In this paper, the following areas are completed:(1) An automatic control line of refrigerator foaming system is researched and designed.The system is divided into13sub-systems, such as the cabinet-auto-identify sub-system. Onthe basic of the analyses of all sub-systems, a design detail about large screen display systemand cabinet-auto-identify system are proposed, and the hardware devices are selected. Theservo control system is studied as a focus. The paper analyzes the composition of the servocontrol system and shows the selection methods of servo motor. The design of hardwarecircuit is finished and the servo motor and servo unit are selected.(2) The paper makes an in-depth analysis and research on Siemens S7-300series PLCand the PROFIBUS-DP, especially the functions and positions in the system. A field busbased on PROFIBUS-DP which makes S7-3152PN/DP PLC as the main control unit is builtand configured in software STEP7. The high-efficient communication between field deviceswith PLC is established.(3) PROFINET and OPC specification are studied and an industrial Ethernet based onPROFINET is established. After learning the Kingview6.53software, the paper builds theOPC server and OPC client to achieve the data exchange from the upper to bottom devices.(4) The paper also studies the PLC programming methods and makes an analysis on themethods of linear programming and structural programming. According to the productionprocess, the system control program is written. Also the dynamic display for the large screendisplay system is drawn by the software Kingview6.53. At last, I make the conclusion of thepaper and put forward some proposals for further developments of the system.
