The news reflects the basic political and social structure of a country and is a unique way of understanding political, social and cultural aspects of the country. Especially, the coverage of international news events has as a profound impact on this.News is often understood and interpreted according to the country’s cultural values and ideologies. Due to the difference in languages and ideologies, most countries have created their own unique media systems. Therefore, the value of the information should be judged in accordance with the characteristics of the country’s own language and cultural ideologies. The information to be reported in news should then be determined based on these judgments. The difference in news reports in China and South Korea is also shown in the two countries’broadcasting system. There is a close relationship between media and government. Hence, the news reports of two countries reflect the differences in their social structures. The countries whose social system is based on Capitalism, such as South Korea, pay attention to the country’s interests, which are taken into account for news reports on other countries. On the other hand, being a Communist nation, China tends to avoid potential diplomatic conflicts in order to maintain the socialist system. Therefore, these two countries have created different news system and structure. Due to the differences of the news system between China and South Korea, the styles of TV news broadcasts are also very different from each other. As well as the influence of the cultural ideologies and media news structure on the news broadcasts, international relations with other nations can also affect the choice of countries reported in the news and the way to structure the content of the news reports. With the continuous social change and development, the nature of the news media and reports has also been changing.
