Now, the mobile Internet industry entered the high-speed development period,benefiting from the rapid development of the intelligent mobile internet which offered a strong hardware foundation. The users can surf the internet all the time and anywhere, and utilize all kinds of the internet services in the field of business and entertainment. Meanwhile, all of these service offer convenient to people’s life and work. The ratio of data service in the business is increasing higher and higher compared the voice service. As companies and individuals are increasingly relying on wireless networks, the requirements for the range and quality of signal coverage also become higher than before. There are so many blind area and corners in high-rise buildings that the problem of signal coverage indoor can’t be solved by using base stations. Due to the complexity of scene, how to solve the coverage of signal in high-rise buildings became a big problem to operators, and also became a bottle-neck of wireless network coverage. To get a qualified distribution system indoor, allocate the network parameter reasonably and combine the distribution system indoor and base station to achieve optimization of network, it is a long-term target for the construction and optimization of the WCDMA internet. Often, new subject will be found one by one. Projects which have a reasonable design and can be optimized and expanded are what we pursue. As a technicist engaged in wireless internet construction for long term, the author has very profound experience for the importance of the key section in internet construction and made a thorough study with my personal experience in work and analysis of measure which to resolve the signal coverage in high-rise buildings.The author in person will make an analysis on different solutions given a typical case and the internet current situation according to the characteristics of network in this thesis. Then, economical and practical techniques are proposed, which are compatible with many networks and targets, for the wireless signal coverage in high-rise building.In this thesis, the author analyses the reasons and impacts of the typical problems occurred in WCDMA network in high-rise buildings. Meanwhile, the author also discusses the reasons of pilot pollution and the likely impacts to CDMA network, and puts forward a couple of solutions. A practical solution which can resolve the hand-off problem and pilots pollution which occurred inside and outside the elevator, and outdoor and indoor, is proposed.Based on current network, a pactical solution to the coverage problem, which can utilize the available resources, save investment and improve the performance is proposed. This solution has practical value and can be refered in system design and optimization..
