There is growing recognition that the wireless network should be optimized better as the vigorous development was scored in mobile communication industry, the amount of subscribers keeps rising, market competition becomes more acute. The network optimization had been the important means to make the most of network resources and improve the service quality farthest.The CDMA wireless network of DeZhou Unicom fully covers the area after the construction of 5 phases was completed. The network indicators and the voice quality is not very good though the scale construction grows more larger. So the network optimization becomes an important link in the CDMA network operation. This paper describes the optimization of two aspects: system parameters and hardware configuration, which aims at the all kinds of problems such as pilot pollution, long access time, drop calls, not cleared voice quality. The goal is to solve the problems of all the elements within CDMA local network in Dezhou Unicom through the network optimization, with a view to qualitative upgrade of the system's quality and providing one clear and unobstructed first-class network.First this paper introduces the development background of CDMA technology and the key technologies in CDMA network, then researches the content, process, organization of network optimization, analyzes the common optimization problems and its occur reason and solution, makes the optimized methods suitable for local network to reach the goal to improve the network service quality in light of the local situation. The drop call rate of the network decreases 0.02%, the paging successful rate increases 0.78%, the call establish rate increases 0.09%, other indicators have some improvement after the network optimization is completed.
