Servo motion control technology plays an important role in the national economy and defense. Motion and the application of the control system in particular have drawn the attention of the industry. The performance of the servo system largely determines the performance of the motion control system. With the progress of circuit,AC variable speed drive technology and power electronics technology, the performance of the ac servo system is increasing day by day, which makes the technology application and research of the ac servo system is particularly important now.This paper provides the design and installation of a completed servo motion system in the laboratory. The motion mechanism of the system is based on the ball screw linear guide pair linkage workbench, it mainly includes the frame, steering mechanism (linear guide rail and slide block structure), the transmission mechanism and moving workbench (ball screw). The servo motion control system has carried on the overall design, completed system test bench mechanical structure design and the servo motion electrical system design. Based on the above theory, the servo motion control system was built in the laboratory.Engineering software developers can make use of the MATLAB toolbox quickly and effectively to solve the complex engineering problem and to analysis them You can also use MATLAB to research the system dynamic simulation in image processing,analysis of the numerical simulation and calculation. Through the use of computer signal observation and analysis on the servo system, can realize the detection and analysis of the servo system. The performance and control of the servo system can be also used to provide technical support and feedback. MATLAB as an a in math class technology application software have a wide range of applications in signal processing,communications, image processing, signal detection and other fields. Based on the data acquisition system to get the ac motor servo system control signal (the input signal and output signal), the MATLAB software is used for extracting the characteristic parameters of the signal and analysis of the displacement and speed of the servo motor system The Approach and Methodology of signal processing and analysis in this paper has important reference value on the development and application, of ac servo motor systemThe full name of Lab VIEW is "Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering platform)", which is a powerful, convenient flexible virtual instruments and analysis software developed by NI. That is the most representative in the field of virtual instrument and graphical programming development platform. It has a premier position as a kind of computer-based programming application software in the current international, which is not only mainly used in instrument control, data acquisition, data analysis, data display and other fields, but also can be applied to a variety of different operating system platforms. By using the computer and the lab VIEW program as the main controller’s hardware and software system, the servo monitoring system can easily be controlled The computer is connected to the EtherMAC platform via Ethernet, to achieve the monitoring function of the servo motor motion system. The abbreviation of EtherMAC is "Ethernet for Measurement and Control", it is mainly dependent on the Industrial Ethernet bus technology, which can achieve high precision and real-time synchronization motion control. Based on the linear guideway and ball screw servo motor test-bed, the servo monitoring system was designed in this paper. Ethernet multi-axis motion control platform is the major part of the acquisition and control system, by using Ethernet to complete the communications between the servo monitoring system and PC. For PC as upper compute and through the programming of the Lab VIEW, the servo motor motion system can reach the implementation of the ac servo motor’s controlling and monitoring, which has strong reference and practical meaning on the servo motor system research and the extended application of the LabVIEW.
