As a basic agricultural facility, the development of the greenhouse has a direct relation to the level of rural income and agricultural development. With the advancement of computer science and technology, more and more high-tech resources are invested in the areas related to agriculture. And researchers pay a high attention to the study and application of automatic production technology of greenhouse. They find a new pattern to expand the scale of agricultural production, also to increase farmers’income, which is to combine computer science with the management of greenhouse. This article based on practical application, presents an agricultural greenhouse monitoring system based on wireless sensor network.The core part of this article is the design of the wireless acquisition network, which based on ZigBee. ZigBee is a new industrial specification for wireless net based on IEEE802.15.4and can be used in self-control and remote monitoring wireless sensor net. Against this background, we use the chips and communication protocols up to ZigBee standard to constitute a wireless acquisition network in the greenhouse, which is used to collect environment data like temperature, humidity and so on. A GPRS module, embedded in the sink node of the wireless acquisition network, takes the responsibility to send environment data to the PC server, and to get the control instruments from upper computers. These control instruments tell the nodes how to adjust agricultural equipment valves, thus reverse controlling environment data in the greenhouse.This article introduces the development of greenhouse monitor system. And the system function is divided into three parts:wireless communications module, data collection and processing module and PC acquisition control module. Wireless communications module including wireless communication module based on ZigBee wireless sensor network and GPRS module, the wireless sensor network using CTP protocol and improves it, increasing the network load balancing. Data collection and processing module using fuzzy control technology, the parameters for automatic control to the environment. PC acquisition control module human-computer interaction friendly interface, easy to operation. Finally, this paper tries to summarize work completed, points out the direction of the next phase of work and improvement objectives.
