Research And Implementation Of Smart Home Based On Internet Of Things

Since IoT (Internet of Things) has been proposed in last ten years, especially thelast couple of years time, it gets more and more attention to the public. The idea thatconnects everything via Internet, wireless sensor networks and radio frequencyidentification, profoundly changes the awareness of network. Inspired by this idea, inevery traditional field, people will try to re-look at their own fields in another way.Smart Home is raised earlier than the IoT, and it has got a lot of theory and results bynow. Of course the IoT will bring more inspiration and benefits for Smart Home.In this paper I study a large quantity of researches on IoT and Smart Home bothdomestically and internationally, then make a proposal on deploying Smart Home inan IoT environment and build a lab environment test platform. During the course ofdevelopment, several technologies have been studied: ZigBee wireless sensor network,ARM embedded technology, mobile terminal technology based on Android, webservice and Intelligent agent. The top three technologies are used to build the basicfunction of smart home: wireless sensor network is responsible for collectinginformation and submitting the household environment arguments, embeddedgateway deals with the information and feed them back to the entire network to makeautomatic adjustment, the remote terminal can access gateway environment situationor give orders to the gateway to trigger an action. By studying web service andIntelligent agent, I can expand the application of Smart Home in openness as well asin intelligence. Through web service, the gateway can publish different householdservices on the Internet, and get their functions upgraded and improved gradually.And with the research of intelligent agent, it is hoped that the gateway can get acertain of ability of learning, ability of memory and ability of making right decisions.Finally, I test the system under the condition of laboratory and put forward theconclusion and outlook. Then I give some advices on the next work.
