High-power LED light, as the fourth generation of the electric light, is characterized bysmaller volume, relatively low voltage, high photoelectric conversion efficiency, fast responseenergy conservation and environmental protection. So it is given the title of "green lighting".However, the lower cooling efficiency of the lamp body reduces its service life greatly, whichaffect its promotion. In order to solve the problem of the cooling of high-power LED lights,we should not only improve the structure of the lamps, but also consider the control of thelamp body, which requires the design of both hardware and software. At present, thetechnology of high power LED intelligent light control is still relatively backward in ourcountry, there are many problems. For instance, the existing single lamp controller fails inconsidering the heat problem in the lamp body control, retains low intelligence, only cancomplete the conventional switch tasks, cannot monitor lamp body in real time, has highfailure rate. In addition, it wastes a lot of manpower and resources in terms of maintenance.The high-power LED intelligent light control system designed in this project will adoptthree-tier network architecture "single lamp controller-centralized controllers-monitoringswitchboard". Here, single lamp controllers will use the ZigBee wireless transmissiontechnology for network transmission, which is a new short-range wireless transmissiontechnology, and it is famous for low cost, large capacity network, shorter delay, longereffective transmission distance and the like. Now, it is mainly used in the field of wirelessindustrial automation control. In addition, we adopt GPRS wireless transmission technologyfor network transmission between the centralized controller and monitor switchboard. In thispaper, we presented the design of hardware and software on single lamp controllers andcentralized controllers and GPRS network transmission applications.The high-power LED intelligent light control system designed in this paper can beapplied not only to the city’s street lighting network, but also to the tunnel lighting network,decorative lighting network. It obtains very broad space of development and market prospects,in addition, although the design is based on a high power LED light, it also provide areference for similar wireless network control system, and has a good reference value.The work is supported by <Research on High-power LED lighting heat dissipation andluminous efficiency and development of new products,20116018>.Major Projects of Jilin Province Science and Technology Development Projects.
