In recent years, cloud computing has become a hot topic around the world. It has been regarded as a national strategy of development. Many countries have invested huge funds and resources to build a cloud computing system to assist industrial development. At the mean time, lots of the traditional IT giants are shifting towards cloud computing, while the other industries are also looking forward to finding a way to benefit from this kind of new technology, or to find an innovative business model to improve the their core competitiveness.There is a great development in cloud computing research, covering all areas. In previous studies, some scholars studied the architecture and implementation of cloud computing technology,as well as the impact on enterprise informatization, from the perspective of computer science. At the same time, some scholars focused on the economic benefits of cloud computing service and how to use this new technology in the enterprises. However, pricing strategy is a core issue of cloud computing services. Cloud computing services appear to offer significant cost advantages for small companies. And start-up companies benefit from these advantages a lot, since they do not operate an internal IT infrastructure.This paper gives a general introduction to the present situation of cloud computing services, and mainly focuses on SaaS pricing. Firstly, this paper summaries a lot of different pricing strategies of cloud computing services. Secondly, on the basis of the predecessors, we emphasize that customer utility plays a significant role in cloud computing service pricing, because customer loyalty is very important for the long-term development of enterprises. Lastly, from this point of view, we provide a new pricing strategy based on negotiation, and point out the benefits for both users and service providers.
