Free Museum Since Opening Features Changes

Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,especially since the reformand opening up of our country,the museums get full development and progress.Museums play their preservation, dissemination, social education function,theybecome an important way to improve the quality of people’s spiritual life.Now manykinds of museums have been established in our country. With the high rhythm ofmodern life, the social environment is very different with the past. In the year2008,The central committee of the communist party release "the notice of museumsopen for free", in the national scope widely implement the museum visitsystem.Museums’ free open shows the trend of the development of industry, it ishelpful to complete our country’s modern national education system and carry outeducation function.It is helpful to give play to the social value of museums andmemorial halls as the public welfare culture organizations,which is beneficial tostrengthen the international cultural exchange and the Chinese nation excellent culturepromotion. Along with many of our museums free to open, the situation is slowlychanging and the function of the museums are different with the past.How to makethem unbeaten in the survival environment and continue to get full development andhow to represent advanced culture is a major issue before us.These are related to themuseum features’ changing and development.The study of such problems in thedomestic and international are concerned. and scholars study this problem fromdifferent angles，the result is also very different.In this paper, based on existingresearch, the writer make reference to the research,and choose the function of themuseums which are free to open up as the topic for the study, and discuss the changesof the function of the museums and how to make measures, and use the modernmuseum basic theory and method to carry out an analysis of a more comprehensivestudy. This paper is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction. Mainlyincluding the introduction of basic concepts; existing research profiles; aspects of thebackground of this study; purpose of the study;research methods.The second part ismainly to discuss the traditional function of the museum.The third aspect is moreimportant, mainly to analysis the changes of viewers and functions, and discuss thenew features.The fourth aspect is about the effect of the free opening up on themuseums and the measures to the problems.The basic steps are: raise thefunds;security;strengthen construction;replacement; set up audience feedbackmechanism.The five part is the conclusion, have a simple introduction to the mainresearch, get a conclusion and clear the meaning and the value of this study.In this paper, we mainly use these methods: the questionnaire method, actualexperience, data collection of the Hubei Provincial Museum and Liaoning ProvincialMuseum.
