There are two solutions about the topic enhancing the design efficiencies of special testequipment. One idea is using software to realize the equipment function as often as possible,realizing the special test equipment rapidly with the efficient software development, that isthe design method of the virtual instrument; the other scheme is the reusable design, treatingthe specificity of the equipment as a particular combination of general modules, making thesimilar parts of different equipment standard, reusing the completed work largely whendesigning the equipment, the using of the reusable design equipment can improve theefficiency of development greatly. We need to do a large number of specialized softwaredevelopment work when the task is heavy according to the design idea of the virtualinstrument, but it’s difficult to improve the efficiency. The design work based on the standardmodule is only the combination of modules, the standardization work makes the developmentvery simple, and the larger the quantity is, the more its superiority is. This article is astandardization instance to describe the design of the upfront module of the test equipment-thestandardization design process and testing work of special test points CAN node.The standardization of the internal test equipment components, first of all, needs to findout the joint part between the similar parts, the standardization work is the integration of theuncommon composition.We can make the implementation of a total of a collection ofcomponents on the basis of the uncommon composition, namely realizing all the differentparts. We can use the selection of the required functionality of software configuration whenusing, the console can provide unified configuration interface and configuration options. Theissues on the entire standardization test parts are the induction about the different componentsand the design of the computer configuration interface.This paper describes the design process on the CAN test parts standardization, first ofall,it describes the specific implementation of the common parts of components (hardware part) and then sums up the uncommon composition on the "behavior" and "attribute" points,designing the computer configuration interface, and finally describes the test cases about thedesigned standardized module.(1) The hardware part: CAN testing parts have the CANinterface and computer interface, We use C8051F040’s embedded CAN controller and CANdrive TJA1040to realize the CAN protocol of data link layer and physical layer respectively,to complete the communications task with external memory interface of C8051F040.(2) Thesoftware part: We use array to store PC control commands and configuration data in the MCU,the array subscript and array element value are corresponding address and data, PC use thearray configuration to test the uncommon composition, this section describes design theconfiguration interface and the implementation of all kinds of uncommon composition ofMCU software.(3)The test part: to test the commonality of the module, a large number oftests are made in a variety of different conditions.
