With the continuous development of computer technology and electronictechnology, now the weighing system has basically achieve many integrationfunctions including electronic weighing, software processing and computercoordination and management. But in the weighing system, the computer canonly play the basic functions of the information collection, computing and datastorage, and other functions will simply be unable to exert which bring out awaste of resources greatly. Due to many advantages of embedded technologyincluding the hardware and software cutting, low power consumption and cheapcost, designers can modify the hardware and software in the embedded systemaccording to the need of system, which can avoid the waste of resources andenhance the competitiveness of the product.According to the problems in the weight management system, this articledesignes a weight management system based on embedded technology. Theweight management system is designed by Taiyuan Gangzheng InformationTechnology Company, which is sold to the small and medium sized coal salescompanies. But different from traditional weight management system, theweight management system in the article does not use the ordinary computer asa platform but use the ARM11core processor development board. And theweight management software is designed by the QT development tool andSQLite database in the embedded Linux operating system. This design integrallymakes the weight management system much simpler and the cost much lower.And the ability of anti-virus interferes in the weighting management softwareand the stability and reliability of the whole weight management system havebeen improved.According to the function features and design requirements of the weightmanagement system, the article has done much work as follow:First of all, we analyse the current application conditions and developmentof weighing system and weighing management software, and analysis and research the many problems on them in the application and develo pment.Combining with the features and advantages of the embedded technology, weelaborate the superiority and implementation methods of the weighingmanagement system and the weighing management software.Secondly, build the hardware and software development platform for theweighing management system. According to the design features of weightingmanagement in this article, we use the OK6410development board withARM11core processor as the hardware development platform. At the same time,we also transplant the BootLoader, embedded Linux kernel and root file systemon the OK6410development board. On the computer we install the virtualmachine on the computer as the software development platform, which we setup the Linux operating system, QT compilation tools and SQLite database on.Finally, in the OK6410development board used as the hardware platform,we designed weight management software which is designed by the QTdevelopment and SQLite embedded database in the embedded Linux operatingsystem. The software has the advantages of small volume, convenient operation,friendly interface and strong anti-interference. According to the functions of theweighing management software including the landing, sales management,weight management, basic data management and system settings, we divide theweighing management software into five modules when we design the software.We use QT programming tools which are built in the embedded Linux operatingsystem to define many classes and objects corresponding to the five functionalmodules. And then by the computer cross-compiler, we could write a finishedprogram to the OK6410development board, on which we will run and test theprogram.
