Based On The Qt Embedded Linux Gui Implementation Of Fingerpeint Identification System

Fingerprint recognition technology is a biometric technology. Because the fingerprint is unique, permanent, universal and acquisition of available, technology of fingerprint identification is widely used. At present the majority of high-performance automated fingerprint identification system is based on the PC platform, and then, there are disadvantages, bulky volume, difficulty of carring, time performance, higher price, and so on. The superiorities of embedded devices are small volume, real-time high, low prices. Thus fingerprint identification has broad application prospects in embedded devices.Firstly, the paper analyses the development of fingerprint identification technology, then analyzed the specific algorithm of fingerprint, and the process includes fingerprint image preprocessing, feature extraction and fingerprint image matching.In the embedded system, the host machine is a PC machine which equipped with virtual Linux operating system of Red Hat Enterprise Linux5. The TFS-M54semiconductor fingerprint sensor as a collection, and ARM9S3C2410microprocessor chip as a development board. On the basis of this, the embedded Linux operating system with Qt GUI system (The graphical user interface) is transplanted.SQLite is a lightweight relational database, with three-stage model of structure system, namely the user model, logic model and storage model. Compared to a traditional database has the system overhead is small, good real-time, the underlying control ability strong advantage. This paper uses SQLite database to store the personal information and their fingerprint information. Then, the algorithm of cross-compiling on hardware platform.
