In this paper, the design of3G communication platform based health monitoring terminal and positioning system is proposed. And we studied in detail the construction of hardware platform, and remote3G communication and positioning method in our system. At first, we discussed the significance of study on health monitoring system with both the function of remote wireless health monitoring and real-time monitoring and positioning. And then,a general design scheme of the health monitoring terminal was illustrated.Component architecture, networking solution and key components selection of the system were proposed. Furthermore, hardware design of the system was analysed in detail, including hardware design scheme, the modular design of the system, detailed design of modules functions and circuit. At last,3G based communication and positioning techniques were overviewed and analysed, based on which positioning technique fit for our system was proposed. My main work and achievements are as follows:1. We studied and applied3G communication technology into the monitoring of health indicators. Remote Data Transmission system for Real-time health monitoring using3G technology was realized.2. Short range wireless communication mode suitable for health indicators monitoring was analyzed and designed, which combined ZigBee and Bluetooth technology, and has given rein to the technological superiorities of the current mainstream of short range data communication.3. System power consumption was analyzed in the selection of processor chip, an energy saving solution which separated low power consumption wearable module and high power consumption real-time data communication module were proposed. And dual CPU was adopted in the design and realization of the whole system.4. To enhance the usability and reliability of the system, and to avoid circumstances of invalid monitoring or misjudgment, a circuit was designed to give warning when the leads were in loose contact.5. Comprehensive and accurate GPSOne positioning utilizing the advantages of3G self-owned technology was realized, and extra load of communication and positioning was avoided.Our system aimed to provide network and communication platform based perspective and techniques for the medical health monitoring field in our country, which is of great practical reference significance for the reform in Medical health field, management of aging population, and even the management of general health business.Moreover, both practical design scheme and laboratory demonstration equipment were provided.
