Radio frequency identification technology (RFID) is the foundation of advanced andnew technology which as a kind of fast, real-time, accurate information acquisition, islisted as the21st century of the top ten important technologies. RFID has graduallybecome enterprises to improve the logistics supply chain management level, reduce thecost, realization enterprise management information, and enhancement enterprise corecompetitive ability indispensable technical tools and means. Radio frequency identificationtechnology was applied on the discrete assembly line that can well meet the workingenvironment particularity and the complexity of the production process demand, realize therational allocation of resources, and improve the discrete assembly line productionefficiency.Based on the traditional discrete assembly line characteristics and problems, andcombined with the present logistics laboratory hardware platform, in the thorough analysis,compose the basis discrete assembly line. Combined with the modern informationtechnology, use the optimize thought to improve and optimization design the assemblyproduction process and warehouse management system of discrete assembly line. UseFlexsim simulation software verify the rationality of the application solutions.In the warehouse management, mainly involves the put in and outs automatic systemand parts picking system. The paper uses modern optimization algorithm thought designthe picking system and builds the shortest picking path; PLC program design for the put inand outs automatic system which applied RFID technology. The paper mainly used RFIDtechnology to supervise the part supplying status of the assembly production line. At last,using the Flexsim simulation software to analysis the discrete assembly line original working process and optimization process that applied RFID technology, RFID technologyapplied on the production line is feasibility through the contrast analysis.It can improve the assembly line efficiency and the level of warehouse managementthorough the comprehensive and information management of the discrete assembly line.
