Using DELPHI To Improve Design Digital Conference Management System

With the rapid development of our country socialist economy, Digital ConferenceManagement System (DCMS) at all levels of Party and government organs,enterprises and institutions are widely used. However, facing the advancedrequirements of the changing content and forms of the conference, the sign functionand the remote participation function in the current DCMS are urgently needed to beimproved.In view of these present two problems, this article based on DELPHI asdevelopment tools, introduces the fingerprint identification and the function of onlinemeeting to improve the system’s design:1. Developing the overall planning of thedatabase system and making the overall analysis of its structural system. Based onB/S structure model, which has the advantages of high safety performance andnetwork communication, using the SQL Server as background database, takingDELPHI as the development tool for system application development.2. A detaileddesign of the sign function module and a remote participation function module isgiven based on the brief analysis of the digital conference magnagement system.The improved system has the following characteristics:1.Simple operation, easyto manage. The clear module design and the well-knit structual of the DCMS makeit effectively to reduce the conference management difficulty and workload.2.Statistical quickly, the results are objective. The attendance and voting results can beinstantly statistics in the conference process by this system. At the same timeaccording to the conference rules, the system can automatically determine whether theconference can be hold normally, and whether the vote can be passed. Thusconference voting process can effectively avoid the interference of human factors anderrors, to ensure that the voting result objective and fair.3. Perfect function, highsafety. The system has perfect function, covering all aspects of conference work. Theprocess and related work can be showed in this system.Furthemore this article showsthat the original sign method is significantly improved and the online meetingfunction is added in this system, which make the DCMS function more comprehensive.The system database are created on dedicated servers and be maintend only by theconference system’s administrator.On the other hand, user only have the privilege toaccess the database, thus the data security is high.
