Mobile IP technology is the core technology for realizing the next generation of networkapplications in the traditional network, and is also the integration of wireless communicationtechnology and IP technology.There are still many limitations in the current mobile communication technology, such as lowutilization of network bandwidth resources, complex routing algorithm, low efficiency, and lesstypes of business support. MPLS technology as a new data transmission technology not only cansupport IP protocol of the network layer, but also can support MAC protocol of the data link layer.MPLS technology is a combination of the exchange technology in the Layer2and the routingtechnology in the Layer3. Mobile multicast and MPLS technology combined with each other cantake advantages of multicast technology to save network bandwidth, and can achieve the goodexperiences of mobile communications.Based on the analysis of MPLS networks, mobile IP networks and IP Multicast technology,this thesis proposes a suitable mobile node to be tunneled multicast data technical approach, designsa MPLS-based the mobile IP Multicast technology implementations, and details description of therelated methods. By NS2the simulation experiments verify the correctness and effectiveness of theimproved algorithm in this thesis.
