The multicast technology development so far, has attracted much attention.Theimplementation of multicast provides a new method of transmission, but alsopromotes the development of Internet technology and industry. Currently lots ofapplications multiple users participate in at the same time, which exploits themulticast, such as video conference, VoIP, IPTV, Internet Radio, stock quotationanalysis, remote education, Distributed Interactive System and so on. In theseapplications, the network influence of multimedia application is especially remarkable.These attributes enable the multicast to become a double-edged sword, which aresudden, high-bandwidth and random. These applications have presented new change,new opportunities and development space, but also the problem of QoS and securitybecause of the huge resources occupation. The original intention of IP multicast is tosolve the problem of low network resources utilization rate, however in thehigh-speed development of the network current situation, the multicast can not meetthe high quality, high speed and high security requirements of the current and futurenetwork because of its no reliable transmission. In this situation that huge coveragearea’s rate of expansion and high speed data transmission rate, if we neglect thequality and security enhancement of multicast, the huge resources consumption wouldbe taken place, and even network meltdown.In addition to the network bandwith, transmission speed and transmission quality,the problem of security is noticeable. It exposes user’s personal information andcritical data in the network, which are the traditional multicast open model and lots ofmulticast applications’ humanized setting. And the previous network end-to-endsecurity mechanism lose its function. So it not only hinders the deployment, but alsoaffects the development of multicast technology.The main research of this paper is MPLS. Transmit the data on the MPLSterritory quickly through the layer-2, and realize the guarantee of high QoS. MPLS technology provides a very excellent carrier. MPLS can not only provide good QoSguarantee, but also equalize network load and reduce the network congestion throughthe second floor of the high speed fast forwarding mechanism. IP multicasttechnology and MPLS technology solves the network key problems that arebandwidth, transmission speed and transmission quality.In order to solve the multicast security problem, I research the multicast securityarchitecture and multicast key mangement structure, which integrates multicast keymanagement, key agreement and distribution. And I adopted a CA authenticationtechnology security multicast mechanism, this model can protection users’ infomationand significant data.
