Most of staffs can get their work done outside the office instead of staying in a building office to work in a city safety production supervision management system. They perform a variety of tasks outside the office even throughout one year, and take on important work of safety inspection, security enforcement, emergency rescue, major hazard source monitor and control treatment and etc., which is concerned with information collection and record of particular kind vehicle, focal point dangerous source and etc.. The property and characteristic of work for staffs work done outside the office determine that they urgently require undertaking to collect, record and transmit up of information and to inquire processing on line. An application method of mobile technology in a safety production supervision management system has been described in stress in this paper, including of requirement analysis, related technical solutions, and studies of key techniques, designing and realization of an application software system on the mobile terminals.The main work researched and practiced in this paper is summarized as the followings:1) Analyzed general structure and software structure of city safety production supervision management system. Designed and implemented two functional modules for mobile office and mobile services on this system.2) Functions of mobile office contain automatically sent email, contacts, calendar management and real-time communication.3) Functions of the mobile business contain hidden and dangerous source report, warning and rectification, and map browsing of the vector data, information retrieval, and mobile location and so on. 4) Because of GIS Geographic Information is very large, data is very complex and arithmetic task is very weight, compared with mobile device, embedded GIS system processor’s speed is slower, memory capacity is small, so this paper proposes the improved vector compression algorithm, which can improve the transmission quality of mobile GIS.5) Regulation is not so overall, and regulatory inspectors also need to be regulated. This paper focused on the study to achieve mobile location, and the inspectors can locate themselves, and upload the information, which can prevent the outside workers deserting them post.As traditional fixed private network can’t support and adapt to the need for a large number in the mobile state frontline staff on-site processing business, this paper developed a movable end city safety production supervision management system which can provide adequate information and quick inquiry methods. This system is mainly used for outside supervision inspectors and corporate security officers. This is convenient for the outside workers, and provides better support for city safety production supervision management system.
