Its rich intension and bright future of development make it management undoubtedly a new starting and developing goal for the Library. It is not only an opportunity but also challenge for Library. Its aim is better served for readers, society and economy construction of country and scientific studies.According to the demand of Private University actuality, this article researches the characteristics of Private University library borrowing information system, and designs the plan of Private University library borrowing information system. This system mainly applies data mining technology, and it selects Microsoft SQL Server2005as database platform. In addition, it has favorable integrated ability with IIS. The main function of the private university library borrowing information system, divides five subsystems, namely, library collecting-and-categorizing system, book circulation system, reading room management,"one-card" accounting management, the public data retrieval system of based on the web. This article focuses on discussing the role of the data mining technology, the clustering analysis, the association rules and several key technology in the research of private university library borrowing information system.
