Material Balance System will help enterprise to collect the production data and do the Balance computing, the result will provide good support to the enterprise decision.Enterprise modeling, as a way of describing enterprise structure, can effectively describe enterprise overall operating condition, and help enterprises to dig out the useful information. The optimized enterprise model according to the new management theory and management demand also can guide enterprise information construction. Therefore, the research of modeling methods has the vital significance to our country enterprise’s informatization development.This thesis first introduces the enterprise modeling and makes the comparison of some influential modeling methods. For the outstanding characteristics such as open, low complexity, super optimization and high operational, ARIS method are widely used in the modeling for large-scale systems. This thesis chooses ARIS to analysis the system and build related model view depend on the characteristics of the Material Balance System.The thesis combines the petroleum and chemical industry characteristics and actual production situation to analysis Manufacturing Execution System and Material Balance System. Designed and developed Material Balance System based on three modules of graphical modeling, data correction and data collection. The system will separate data collection, logical calculation and data presented by the layer, realizes the data transmission step by step. Material Balance System as an important part in production management platform, it fits for the process industry in the management information development direction. In a word, the project development of Material Balance System has a very important significance for the chemical process industry reducing production cost and increasing economic benefits, improving the level of enterprise management.
