Design And Implementation Of Electronic Map Service Software Based On The Android Mobile Phone

With the popularization and promotion of the portable mobile devices,thesmartphone,which is the one of the important branches,will become the main device toobtain information.Therefore,the application services of the mobile phone will havegreat development space, map service is one of them.Now many families have privatecars,so they hope to receive navigation services for their journey.In addition to purchasethe experiment navigator,the Android phone can also be able to provide map service.Itcan give users a lot of convenience.Android platform provides to the generaldevelopment a function of very flexible display and control the map,which will makethe design and implementation of the map service have a better paltform.In addition,theAndroid platform is basically free,so can reduce the cost of software effectively,andultimately lets each user be able to gain the informaition freely.In this paper,there is a analysis and comparison about the different systems forphones.Further analysis of the Android platform,system architecture and componentmodel,and then to resolve the important APi in Android and application ofcomposition.on this basis,design and develop a mobile electronic map service based onthe Android platform called MapService.this software includes the GPS localization,themap mode,the route inquiry,the place search,the tracking record,the creation of recordand so on.This software is user-friendly,easy to operate,and has good extendibility andmaintainability.The software can be stable operation and is able to meet the Androidphone users basic map sevice needs.
