In thedevelopment of information technology today, through the advanced computertechnology, manage scientific researches by means of information technology,strengthen the management of scientific research, integrating scientific work processesfor decision-making layer provides the real and effective reference, so as to enhance thescientific research management level, is the scientific research management in Collegesand universities represent the general trend.At present, our existing scientific research management mode in general isrelatively backward, cannot satisfy the majority of teachers scientific research onaccurate and timely information on demand, and the management of scientific researchwork largely rely on the manual, make scientific research management work ofscientific research information collection and collation of difficult research naturalresources cannot get reasonable configuration and use. The university scientific researchmanagement information system needs analysis, then with our specific situations,design and development for our university scientific research management informationsystem.The design of this system is mainly from the University’s scientific researchmanagement practice and user needs, set up the corresponding functional modules anddata flow, to complete the function module design and database design, but also on thedata integrity, consistency and safety were analyzed and designed. The system adopts C/S and B/S hybrid structure, database using SQLSever2003, Web server using IIS7.0,and with the Asp.net technique to support the Internet platform, operating system usingWindows XP operating system to achieve in the browser client outcomes informationinput, scientific inquiries; client achievements, research work to quantify the degreeconfirmation, statistical report generation, personnel management, scientific research achievement data import and export, print and other functions. It has a friendly userinterface, a reliable data security mechanism, which, to a certain extent, will improvethe efficiency and quality of scientific management, and finally result in an advance indigital management of scientific research.
