As the development of microwave circiut techonolgy, the demand of small size, low weight millimeter wave transicever is more and more high. Integrated the mixeron Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMIC) would make it have theadvantages of small size, low weight, low power consumption, high reliability and soon. It has a wide range of applications not only on the military field such as satellitecommunication, phase array radar system and electronic warfare, but also the civiliancommercial market. This project balance mixer structure, and harmonic mix theory. Design with thePKD provided by the commercial foundry. The passive structure simulated by thefull-wave method, guarantee the magnitude imbalance and phase imbalance meet therequirement of specification. The simulated S parameter result and the FET model areco-simulated in schematic simulation. We propose two kinds of local signal feel bunch, the sigle balun with two tee, anddual balun. utilize these two f local signal feel bunches, we descide two mixer. Thesimulation results show that the conversion loss of mixer A34GHz~36Ghz is less than17dB, the IRR is better than23dB. The LO-to-RF isolation is better than32dB. Formixer B, the conversion loss is less than17dB, the IRR is better than20dB. TheLO-to-RF isolation is better than45dB. All of the results meet the requirement.
