Based on the analysis of the Internet remote psychological counseling servicedeveloping at home and abroad, the article aims on the needs of more and more collegestudents for the network remote psychological counseling services, making full use oftoday’s advanced technology as RealServer, SMIL and streaming media technology, toreserch and establish methods and models rely on interactive Web-based remotecounseling. The main objective of this thesis is to research and design streaming mediasystem of psychological counseling. Through the implementation of the system, we cansolve the problems that multimedia information palyed synchronize and the seamlessintegration of the system between with the database while counseling on thelong-distance. The data transmit on system by the streaming media technology, networkprotocols to support the streaming transmission and RealServer engine which allowingthe system to design tools and play multimedia more smoothly. On the issue ofsynchronization in a variety of media player applicate the current popular ofsynchronized multimedia integration SMIL2.0language, in order that a wide range ofmedia players on the network can accurate synchronization and choose the media filesaccording to the bandwidth by users; in the integration of distributed resources on theuse of Web Service management of the advisory system to achieve with theintegration of distributed resources; and time lines as a result of a combination of pages,allowing the system to the design and production process more intuitively andefficiently.
