Design And Implementation Of Special Enterprise Oriented Material Management System

Materials management is a very important management to special enterprises, andthe informationization of it is an important part of enterprise construction. Materialsmanagement information system is an integrated system with modules such as inventorymanagement, statistical analysis, basic information management, which applies relevantcomputer information technology (data processing technology, Internet technology, etc.)into enterprise materials management, so as to realize the management goal of as fewbusiness inventories and possession of funds as possible. Material managementinformation system is one of the important means to achieve good economic profits forenterprises.A great material management information system brings the automation ofinformation management, achieving the organic unity of the enterprise information flow,logistics, and capital flow, covering the entire business process from receiving toexhausting, and finally making a significant change in enterprise management decision.This thesis studies the status of domestic and foreign materials management andinformation systems, which provides a theoretical foundation for the design anddevelopment of materials management system on the background of military enterprises.Besides, this thesis researches relevant technology of today’s computer informationsystem development, especially focusing on the J2EE specification system. Last but notleast, it develops a Material Management Information system covering materialsinventory management, financial analysis, procurement management functions and theentire business process of materials management from the storage to the outbound.The Application, which used to the materials management and information systemsof special enterprise, either improves special enterprise management mode and mode ofoperation, or accelerates the modernization of enterprise materials management. What’smore, it improves the management depth of existed information resources and staffefficiency. All these result in the enhancement of the level of material management anddecision-making ability.
