Based On The WEB SERVICES Library Retrieval System Design And Implementation

Based on the analysis of the existing using situation of library in Hengshui Vocationaland Technical College and the investigation of some other brother colleges, this paper ismainly to discuss the book retrieval system function demand based on Web Services fromthe specific characteristics of author`s college library. The detailed design of the system isbased on the systematic analysis of the business needs, the feasibility of the system,process graphics, database, retrieval model and so on. After the analysis of the currentlibrary using situation, the author begins to design and implement the system usingobject-oriented analysis method, mainly through the analysis of the principle of the system.including the system interface,the functional structure of the system, database and theinterface of Web Services. The paper illustrates the algorithm of the system, metadataalgorithm involved in detail so that the software designing process can be controllable. Inthe designing process of the system, the Web Services implementation, various functionmodule implementation and the system test are achieved. At last, the paper puts forwardthe possible future problems and the improving direction of the function system.The system uses the present extensive use of NET platform development and thecommon technical B/S mode, which make the operation of the system easier. Thus, thesystem is more flexible based on Web Services technology. The system meets the demandof system function scalability and compatibility through three layer structure by WebServices technology loose-coupling among each layer, and meets the demand of thesystem safety through the various roles rights management and IP address judgment,etc.The hardware improvement and the continuous optimization make the system have asound developing prospect.
