A high degree of integration and rapid development of information industry, especially the vigorous development of the embedded technology and network communication technology, promote the innovation of remote monitoring technology. The development and innovation provide a strong technical assurance for the production life of the modern society to implement the digital network monitoring. At present, the remote monitoring technology has become a hotspot of current research in the field of automated monitoring.Firstly, this paper introduced the status of remote monitoring technology, for some of the problems that exist in the remote monitoring, proposed that the open reconfigurable RMON will be monitoring development direction of the field in the future. Then analyzed the reconstruction technique and reconfigurable software development methods, and introduced the thinking of reconstruction into RMON to propose a RMON framework for reconfigurable open. In addition, this paper introduced the idea of the configuration into the above framework, and then gave the component architecture of the framework, so as to meet different application needs and personalized customization.Secondly, for the achievement of the above framework, the core problem-the multi-format conversion and parsing of the data, this paper also put forward the corresponding solutions. RMON’s core task is to obtain environmental and status data collected by the monitoring site, while faced with a wide variety of different formats of data collection, how to efficiently convert and parse the data is critical. So this paper designed a scalable monitoring communication protocol format for the encapsulation of monitoring data, and proposed a protocol analysis method based on regular expressions, to meet the demand for the openness and reconstruction of the framework.Besides, this paper designed and implemented RMON open reconfigurable prototype system and described the implementation process of the embedded monitoring front-end software system. Besides individually designed and implemented a data conversion test procedure to verify the validity and accuracy of the extensible monitor communication protocol framework and its resolution mechanism. In the prototype system, developed data display component based on the desktop environment and an intelligent terminal respectively, and showed temperature and humidity monitoring data to verify the effectiveness and practicality of the framework.Finally, this paper summarized the research results, and set out directions for future research.
