In this thiese, the design scheme of Multimedia communication operation terminal is proposed, through the analysis of Multimedia communication operation terminal research status at home and abroad and depth study of related theory and technology. The design of multimedia terminal based on S3C6410processor, the Windows CE6.0as the operating system. The terminal can apply in the nurse station of medical care system. This article main task is to carry out the related software development.Firstly, after demand and requirements analysis, the overall design scheme is proposed. And the modular design method is adopted to realize the system software design process. In the network communication module, communication model based on C/S structure is designed. The server based on the Select I/O model to realize the I/O management. In this model, the special communication control protocol is made. Combined with Socket network programming technology and multi-threading technology, multimedia network communication is realized.Secondly, Waveform Audio API functions that control audio hardware interface provided by operating system realize audio record and play in audio processing module. And in the multimedia network communication structure, intercom program design is completed. The design of video decoding and display modules utilizes hardware multi format codec of S3C6410built-in and adopts H.264standard to realize video decoding. The YUV video data is showed directly by the DirectDraw object.In addition, The Web Server based on B/S structure is developed in this operating terminal. Using ASP and COM component technology realize the hospital management system design.Finally, this operating terminal realizes visible interphone function and the Web server can stable operation. The design of the system basically meets the requirements of the hospital nurse workstation. It is easy to operate and manage.
