The development of modern electronic technology promote the development ofLarge Scale Integration (LSI) and computer technology, so the application of DigitalSignal Processing technology has come into every field. In a variety of eletronicapplications, the data acquisition system has become an essential part of them.However, there are variety of datas in the production practices, the analog informationshould be changed into digital information before it was transferred into the computer.For the switching quantity,level translation should be made before it was collected, theAC parameters should be transformed before they are processed.A data acquisition system was discussed in this paper, and this system can be usedto acquire the analog information, the switching quantity and the AC parameters, thenthey were all transferred into the mini PCI bus. First, the overall performance of thisdata acquisition system was analysised in this paper. then, the whole design plans ofthis system was confirmed, TMS320C6205was used as the main controller, which wasresponsible for the three kinds of datas’ collection, storage and transmission. The research focus ofthis paper is the acquisition of the AC parameters, the acquisition of the analoginformation and the switching quantity was analysised briefly. This system used energymatering IC ATT7026A to implement acquisition of the AC parameters. Acquired dataof the AC parameters would be transferred into the TMS320C6205through itsmultichannel buffered serial port (McBSP) from ATT7026A. Last, the input channelcircuit for the AC parameters’ acquisition and the ADC converting circuit weresimulated in this paper.The mini PCI bus not only has the PCI bus’ advantages of high performance, lowcost and processor independence, and because of its smaller volume, the mini PCI busis widely used in certain field. With the development of digitalization, the dataacquisition would become more and more important.
