Design And Realization Of The Network Information Assets Management System Based On J2EE

With the continuous development of China’s information technology, many kindsof network information infrastructures, such as network devices, computers, mobilestorage medium, printers and so on are wildly used and thus asset management is moreand more important. The topic originates our information technology departmentproject “Network Information Assets Management System Based on J2EE”. Our targetis to boost efficiency of information asset management by network system and improvesecurity of network information management.RUP development model, J2EE and UML modeling are discussed in this thesis. Wehave analyzed requirements of asset management system, conducted overall design anddetail design, designed database and data dictionary of system, implemented kernelmodules based on J2EE, done verification and analyzed the results.After introducing the system into dedicated WAN, we implement registration,allocation, maintenance, replacement cancellation, and barcode printing through webof our internal equipment. Besides, this system can log the history information aboutthe equipments with searching capability by various filtering conditions, collecting ofdifferent statistics and generating report. The system also adopts PKI/CA system forencrypted network transmission and user identity authentication. It can automaticallylog administrator and users’ operations and is accompanied with a fine-grainedauditing system. And it has data backup and recovery mechanism. In general, thesystem would provide administrator an efficient management tool and provide policydeciders with reliable and accurate information.
