IP bearing network using IP packet to carry voice, data and multimedia and so onmany kinds of information,Not only fully inherited existing IP intracity networksprovide ISP service, but also can provide voice, IPTV, Cloud services etc of rich andunique new business, with technology, cost advantages. It is the next generation of thedevelopment trend of bearing network.TCP/IP protocol has advantages of highlyopenness,But the essence of IP network tried to transfer to meet the current applicationof Internet needs. The the network structure of the existing IP network of the operatorsmust be adjusted, the hierarchic QoS and VPN,must be made, so that birth defects ofthe the IP network can be compensated.Aiming at the above questions, with a certaintelecommunication IP network status as a research object, the research, planning anddesign of the IP development of comprehensive carrying nets are made.The first chapter presents the background paper topic knowledge, analysistelecommunications operator choose IP technology build the overall carrying the causeof the nets.
