Wireless Routing Terminal Management Based On OMA DM

As the communications industry and technology development, data services become increasingly complex,services have become more and more dependent on the terminal.The increase in mobile terminal services and business makes operators to find a way of convenience and effectiveness which can integrate the mobile terminal’s remote configuration, diagnostics, update and management operations. OMA DM standard based on SyncML protocol provides a theoretical basis for solving these problems.This thesis achieve the remote management capabilitie, which is based on terminal management, communication processes, security, download mechanism of OMA DL, and rely on the wireless router erminal. Implementation process around the function of configuration data, PRL update, firmware update, and HFA update. Then, the the firmware update function use two ways to download, one is large object modules, the other is based on DL protocol. This way make the firmware update more flexible and effective. In addition, this thesis also analyzes and resolves a few difficulties, such as OMA DM Notification cache program, OMA DM complicated functions, and OMA DM HFA state query functions. Finally, we test the wireless router’s management functions, and analysis of the testing Log. Testing results show that the functionality and effectiveness of wireless router’s management functions has met the original design requirements.
