The Design And Implementation Of Intelligent Home Lighting System

With the development of modern technique, new intelligent home based onnetwork and information is now gradually replacing traditional home intelligent whichbased on home controller. For the reason of who constitute standard win the market,many domestic organizations drawled intelligent home net work standards according tothe situation of China.This paper summarized three protocols which have been published by theDepartment of Information Industry of China as recommendable industry standard—theChina Communications Standards Association(CCSA) protocol, the IntelligentGrouping and Resource Sharing(IGRS) protocol, the ITophome protocol. As animportant sub-system of the intelligent home system, intelligent lighting system hasthe advantage of efficient energy conserving, easily management operating, multiformlighting control and especially low expending, which has large potential DigitalAddressable Lighting Interface(DALI) system, which including the master unit andslave unit. After introduces the DALI standard protocol, compared the advantages anddisadvantages of three DALI system designs, this paper bring forward a DALI systemdesign using common chips. Implemented the function of DALI codes and instructionstransmission and receiving by interface circuits. Described the construction from fourparts： the hardware part, the software part, the signal test part and amelioration part.The Research&Development(R&D) of DALI slave unit mainly contained thehardware parts below: Analog to Digital(A/D) conversion of light sensor signal, Digitalto Analog(D/A) conversion of illuminating signal, Pulse Width Modulation(PWM)pulse modulate, driving circuit of halogen lamps, and also analyzed a circuit design ofdimming ballast using UBA2014for fluorescence lamps. The software flow chart isalso given in this part. ADALI system is formed and the basic communication functionis available so as to fulfill the necessity of normal family dimming demand once theslave unit is connected with the master unit researched and developed by theauthor,gives a better adjustment of the brightness of the light according to day or nightlighting, and has the advantage of energy efficiency and remote control.
