As information technology continues to develop and scale software systemcontinues to expand, the time-consuming and the cost of the development oflarge-scale software systems will continue to increase. User interface due to itscomplexity, occupied a great deal of time on the process of software development.Improved user interface development efficiency is undoubtedly a very effectivemeans of enhance the efficiency of development of the entire software system.The paper, based on user interface design and management, mainly researchedinto data-driven and business rule technology. Firstly, the development process ofuser interface was summarized. The paper analyzed the user interface requirementsand interface design principles. For data-driven user interface, the user interface wasdescribed by XML Language, and the elements of user interface was stored in XMLfiles. The interface profile was parsed by program,and elements of user interface wasread. According to the configuration information, software dynamically generateduser interface. For the business rule application of human-machine interface, thecommon business rule form was analyzed in human-machine interface. Thetraditional way to implement business rule was concluded. The description languageof business rule was defined. The paper designed a rule document to describebusiness rule. The rule engine was designed using to explain the rules file, and toexecute rules, to validate rules, and to return the results.On the basis of these studies, the paper designed and implemented a softwaresystem of data-driven and business-rule user interface. Then the application wasused in user interface of test monitoring system. Through examples of the use ofthese two techniques, the user interface development and maintenance was beensimplified, and the software has a good ability to customize the interface. Thebusiness rules can be easily understood and modified, system maintainability andreliability were improved.
