Wireless digital terrestrial television broadcasting is the most important basic broadcasting in the broadcast television industry. China launched the national standard of digital terrestrial television broadcasting in2006. In2008SARFT started experimental broadcasting digital terrestrial television broadcasting service, which indicates that Chinese digital terrestrial television broadcasting has entered a new stage. SARFT clearly pointed out clearly pointed out the need to promote TV broadcasting from analog to digit in the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan". Network planning and implementation for transmission system play a very important role in the process of the new standardThis thesis focuses on the digital terrestrial television broadcasting network planning and coverage, especially the single frequency network(SFN) planning and implementation. First it describes the spreading channel of digital terrestrial television broadcasting and the domestic and international transmission standard of digital terrestrial television broadcasting, and analyzes some important elements of the coverage of network construction and coverage,such as network model, planning parameters, system configuration and coverage area planning. The next analysis focused on several key issues for planning and implementation of SFN including the construction steps, network planning, system mode selection, overlapping areas of coverage, program delivery network, coverage of blind area. It indicates a scientific planning and construction of SFN. Finally, with the Chinese digital terrestrial television broadcasting practice in Shanghai, the ethsis analyzes the testing data of channel37and propose the method of adjustment to enhance receiving quality in overlapping area of SFN.At the end of the thesis, we summarize the current work and describe the problems in the SFN and prospect of the next phase of work.
