Family planning is one of our basic state policies which canpromote human development in a sustainable and balanced way. However,nowadays illegal acts such as illegitimacy, defaulting onobligations of family planning still happens. Hence, it is importantfor us to efficiently lead people to comply with the lawsself-consciously by using Family Planning Service System which isconstructed under the help of implementing measures such asinterest-orientation as well as making full use of informationtechnology.As the administrator the family planning bureau of Panyu districtof Guangzhou, I must say that the traditional management mode is nomore satisfy requirements nowadays because of quantity andcomplexity of the region’s population information. Therefore, todesign and implement a whole new system that can improve currentinformation service platform as well as enhancing level ofinformationization is one of our important goals.This paper presents a discussion that information technology hasa great effect on development of our family planning work, which isbased on the construction project of Family Planning Service Systemand specific application of11subsystems of Panyu Digital FamilyPlanning Service System. Several aspects such as system requirements,system design, the overall system architecture design, system datastructure design, system functions and system data exchange ofIUD-Checking Information Systems are introduced in this thesis.In this system, by using B-ultrasonic wave equipment as a terminalworkstation, we can accomplish IUD-checking and results preservationon the premise of ID recognition with ID card reader or fingerprintreader. In the meantime, inquiry function and statistical functionis available in this system, as well as the function of data sharingbetween our system and Guangzhou’s. By operating the system, we can not only service our objects conveniently while reduce staffs’workload, but also improve our level of informationization andquality of service.
