Design And Implementation Of Examination System Of Public Course

With the rapid development of computer technology, network technology and databasetechnology, college teaching mode has changed rapidly. Exam is not only a method for testingteachers’teaching quality, but also is an important way to testing students’s level of learning.As for the traditional exam, which including exam preparation, proposition, paper preparation,paper inspection and paper analysis, the school will put into a mass of manpower and materialresources, and course teachers have to put into a lot of energy and time. Especially inlarge-scale traditional exams, the burden of teachers become heavier and heavier, which limitsthe scientific development of exams. Now there exists a trend in education reforms that withthe help of computer application, computer technology, net technology and databasetechnology will be applied in exams to build a proper exam system. And this will become acriterion whether the modern education reform is successful or not.In this thesis, public course examination reform of College of HulunBuir is regarded asthe background. And based on the conventional software development order, through theresearch and analysis for traditional exam process, the realization process of several keymodes in test library management, paper preparation management, test management andpaper inspection management will be discussed from five aspects—demand analysis,integrated design, detailed design, realization and testing. In addition, C#and SQL2005willbe used in test system which is based on C/S mode.In the exam system designed in this thesis, the test questions will be classified accordingto the difficulty level when the question database is developing. And then based on the scopeof knowledge, difficulty level and other relevant parameters, the eligible questions will bechosen to make up an testing paper. In the testing management, a related algorithm methodwill be adopted to avoid the same testing paper between neighboring students. Testinginspection technology for objective items has been matured, so the objective items markingwill be achieved by the system; while as for the subjective items, the teachers have to registerthe inspection system to marking, aiming at achieving the man-machine integration inspection. In the aspect of system security, user management and access control system for database willbe adopted. Now, this system has been tested in our school, which is proved that this systemcan be applied in actual exams of a certain scale, because in the exams, the structure ofquestions is reasonable; knowledge point covers comprehensively; and teachers and studentsare satisfied with this system. Through the research of this exam system, education reformwill be developed; teaching quality will be improved; and working pressure of teachers willbe decreased. What’s more, this system will provide a new idea for exams which have to bemore scientific and more fairer.
