The Design And Implementation For Web Service Platform Via Website Mode

The publish and discovery of Web services is one of the core technologies of servicecomputing and it is an important component of web application system, Web servicesregistration and discovery has become hot spots of enterprise-class application integrationsystems research. With the rapid development and wide use of Web Service, there is a growingneed to set up a platform to implement the publish, discovery and description of Web Service.The issue centers around the publish and discovery of Web services, two types of WebService platforms are studied in depth, a Web Service Platform via Website mode wasdesigned and implemented. B/S architecture is applied into the design of this platform andPHP and MySQL into the implementation of this platform. The finished work included:(1) Via the study of relevant technologies of Web Service, the benefits and drawbacks ofcurrent Web Service registration center was examined, the requirements of this platform wereobtained according to the needs of users.(2) The requirements of this platform. Were determined by the use case, the softwarearchitecture of the system is designed, the function modules of the system are divided, and thelogic database is designed.(3) The detailed design and test was performed, mainly include: The developmentenvironment of PHP and MySQL in Fedora16was constructed, the database was created inMySQL, every function modules are implemented and tested.The main functions of the platform are as follows: publish and management of theservices, discovery of the services, description and test of the services. The advantages of theplatform are the feature of simple, flexible, high efficiency of search. However, there are someproblems: services do not be classified, and the complicated services are can not be done bythe test interface of service.
