In the Internet age, how to make the IT architecture faster, better support and meet customer business's needs for change, has become the problem that all the IT companies need to solve. By SOA (service-oriented architecture) as an IT architecture strategy, being able to package enterprise applications into the standard and interoperable Web services, organizations can quickly combine and reuse these services to meet business needs, fully use existing IT assets, and implement systems integration, so that business development become more agile, system architecture become more clearly. Therefore, more and more companies tend to use SOA architecture to build their own IT systems, and SOA has become the industry's research focus.With the growing wealth of Web services, how to find, use, manage and monitor these services becomes one problem that IT departments need to consider. UDDI (Universal Description, Discovery and Integration) is an important part of service-oriented architecture, as web service discovery technology standards. It builds a bridge between the service consumers and service providers, and provides a path for the service consumers to find the service according to their own need.The BOSS (Business Operation Support System) System of China Mobile Group Hebei Co., Ltd. has developed for above ten years. During this period,more and more web applications are applied with the IT technology development. And because of the increasing and the diversification of the BOSS system, system integrators also developed from the initial one to six. In order to'effective and controllable'reuse the service module of the system, SOA are gradually introducing. And how to manage a large number of web services is an important issue. In 2009,China Mobile Group Hebei Co., Ltd. started'integrated marketing'project.UDDI-based Research and Implementation of Service Management Center for BOSS is part of the project.In this paper, the UDDI specification related technologies were researched, including Web Service, XML, SOAP, ESB, etc., and the UDDI protocol was deeply analyzed. On this basis, research and development had been made around the UDDI service management control center. At the same time the basic framework for the control center was planed and carried out based on the combination of UDDI and ESB (enterprise service bus).Finally the prototype system of UDDI environment service management control center has been Developed based on J2EE.The system has two main components:UDDI service and the management center console. Management center console provides a friendly user interface, implement the center management. UDDI service and management center console run independently, the management center console by calling the API to achieve the operation on UDDI service information model. For information on Web service security and reliability considerations, the system implements the management functions based on organizational structure, to enhance the user access control. Meanwhile, to ensure quality of service, the system model in the UDDI protocol was extended to provide a service monitoring function.This paper introduced the service-oriented architecture and UDDI specifications related to various types of technology; explored the UDDI information model and various types of API. Then introduced the research and development of UDDI service management center system, system software module structure and related data structures, UDDI standard implementation of the agreement and its extension, and the key technology. Finally, forecasted the future development of Web Services Management Center.
