Networked manufacturing is an advanced manufacturing mode based on network and information technology, it enables enterprises across the constraints of time and space, shared manufacturing resources to improve all kinds of aspects’efficiency. However, in the networked manufacturing environment, manufacturing resources exist different in the semantic and grammatical, also have not uniform definition and organization way, and have different manufacturing network between enterprises. Sharing manufacturing resources will more difficult because of a series of problems.This paper combines with the Science&Technology Research Program of Zhejiang Province, research base on the metadata and P2P resources sharing mechanism in the networked manufacturing environment. Mainly through the establishment of the manufacturing resources metadata model and manufacturing sharing network, provide sharing solutions in semantic, grammatical and sharing mechanism, realize effectively, fast and accurately sharing the manufacturing resource between enterprises.Firstly, detailedly analyse and discuss manufacturing resources in the networked manufacturing environment, base on the metadata theory, and combined with the inherent properties, feature attributes, attribute weights of the manufacturing resources, to propose a metadata-based manufacturing resources model, to solve the manufacturing resources different in the semantic and grammatical, and to give base XML/RDF on resource description methods, with an manufacturing equipment resource to verify the effectiveness of this method.Secondly, this paper proposes a P2P-based manufacturing resources sharing model(NMS-P2P model), shielding the difference between enterprise manufacturing network, to provide a dynamic, extensible, support instant join and exit sharing network. This model will existing manufacturing network into three layer structure, which are the physical layer(node layer), the convergence layer(resource community layer), management layer(P2P layer), and give detailed method to how to build the resource community layer and P2P layer. Meanwhile, to improve the traditional P2P network blind type flooding retrieval mechanism, through the introduction of cache mechanism, to propose a resource retrieval algorithm——a caching mechanism-based NP-F algorithm, which is more suitable for NMS-P2P model. Through performance analysis to verify this algorithm has a good performance.Finally, this paper design and develop base JXTA and Java Web technology on lace-oriented industry manufacturing resources sharing platform prototype system. This prototype system verifies theory and algorithms that proposed in this paper, meanwhile effectively supports for lace industry manufacturing resources sharing.
